I am beyond honored and excited to introduce myself as the new principal of La Mirada Elementary School. Stepping into this role fills me with deep gratitude and a strong sense of purpose. I am thrilled to join a community so clearly rooted in care, excellence, and a shared commitment to student success.

I bring with me 13 years of experience in education, having served as both a lead school psychologist and an instructional leader in special education. Throughout my career, I’ve learned that the most powerful learning environments are built on strong relationships, high expectations, and a shared belief that every child has the potential to lead, create, and thrive.

My leadership is grounded in listening, lifting others up, and building a culture where every student feels safe, seen, and supported. Here at La Mirada, I look forward to working side by side with students, families, and staff to continue shaping a school that values curiosity, compassion, and courage. My goal is to lead with heart and vision—to honor what makes this community special, while also embracing new ideas that help all learners grow.

In the coming weeks, I hope to connect with as many of you as possible. Whether at drop-off, afterschool pick-up, back-to-school night, or simply in conversation, I’m eager to hear your stories, your hopes, and your dreams for our school.
